Canton Fair Wrap-Up: Bringing Our Cat Litter Products To Global Buyers

A closer look at our booth, new formulas, packaging ideas, and customer conversations in the pet products area

The Canton Fair has come to an end, and this time we arrived with a clear focus: cat litter. Standing inside the pet products area and watching visitors walk through the aisle, I could feel that cat litter is still one of the categories buyers are willing to stop for, touch, compare, and discuss in detail. It is not a product that can be fully understood from a catalogue page. The texture, particle shape, color, packaging, and display effect all matter once the customer sees the real product in front of them.

Our booth was built around practical product presentation. Instead of only showing finished retail packs, we also displayed sample boxes with different materials and particle forms, so buyers could see the differences more directly. Many visitors first looked at the samples, then checked the bags on the shelves, and then started asking about formula, packaging, market positioning, and trial orders. That kind of conversation is exactly why an offline exhibition is still valuable.

New formulas brought to the show

For this Canton Fair, we prepared several new and updated cat litter options. The products that received repeated attention included green bamboo cassava cat litter, tea tofu cat litter, zeolite cat litter, and different types of paper cat litter. These products gave customers more choices beyond conventional cat litter and also made the booth look more complete as a pet cleaning solution display.

The green bamboo cassava product stood out because of its fresh visual effect and plant-based positioning. Tea tofu cat litter also attracted interest because tea elements are easy for customers to understand when talking about natural odor control and product differentiation. Zeolite cat litter was another product that buyers wanted to compare with traditional mineral cat litter, especially when they were looking for odor-control products or new combinations for their local market.

Paper cat litter was also an important part of the booth. We displayed several paper-based products, including white paper, colorful paper, and newspaper-style cat litter. Customers who focus on low dust, light weight, gentle paw feel, and daily-use pet hygiene were especially interested in this category. From the conversations at the booth, paper cat litter is no longer just a niche product for some markets. More buyers are starting to treat it as a useful extension of their cat litter range.

Sample displays helped buyers compare different cat litter materials, colors, and particle forms on site.

Conversations with customers from different countries

During the fair, we met customers from different countries and channels. Their questions were not all the same. Some buyers focused on dust control and deodorization. Some were more interested in clumping performance, flushability, biodegradability, and plant-based ingredients. Others spent more time asking about packaging, shelf display, trial order quantity, and how to build a more complete private-label cat litter line.

These conversations reminded me that cat litter is a very practical product, but the buying decision is not only about one function. A good product needs to match the customer's market, sales channel, packaging budget, logistics plan, and consumer expectations. For example, one customer may prefer a clean and simple paper cat litter display, while another may need a stronger visual product for retail shelves. One market may care more about eco-friendly materials, while another may first compare price, weight, and daily-use performance.

This is why we believe a wider product range is important. By showing tofu cat litter, cassava-based products, zeolite, paper cat litter, mineral cat litter, silica cat litter, and other related options together, customers can compare different directions in one place. It also allows us to discuss product combinations instead of only promoting one single item.

Looking forward to the next meeting

Looking back at this Canton Fair, the most valuable part was not only the booth display, but also the real feedback from customers. We saw which products made buyers stop, which packaging ideas they were willing to discuss, and which product details they cared about before considering a trial order. These details will help us keep improving our cat litter product range and make our communication with customers more precise.

The exhibition is over, but the conversations continue. Thank you to every customer who visited our booth, checked our samples, and shared market feedback with us. We were glad to meet so many pet product buyers face to face, and we look forward to seeing you again at the next exhibition.
